Dub fi Dub: Kosmik vs Yardbeat
Am 30. März steht mit dem War ina East einer, wenn nicht sogar der interessanteste Clash des Jahres auf europäischem Festland an. Gegenüber stehen sich in diesem musikalischen Krieg Sentinel Sound aus Stuttgart, Kosmik Movement aus NYC und Yardbeat aus Yokohama. Mit diesem Line up bringt Herbalize-It (Promoter des Events) 3 Big Sounds auf das Battlefield, die sich an diesem Abend nichts schenken werden.
Yardbeat wurde 2008 in Yokohama gegründet und hat in der über 4 Jahre andauernden Soundgeschichte unzählige Clashes gespielt und davon auch einige für sich entscheiden können. Mit Shows in 27 verschiedenen Ländern haben sie ihr Können schon oft genug unter Beweis gestellt und kommen mit Sicherheit mit einer geladenen Dubbox auf den War ina East.
Kosmik Movements ist der jüngste dieser 3 Sounds, was nichts über die Qualität und Quantität ihrer Dubbox aussagt. Seit knapp 3 Jahren im Soundbizz hat Kosmic schon einige Clashes (unter anderem gegen Black Kat, King Addies, Supersonic, Yardbeat…) gespielt. Außer dem Fame, den sie sich über Dubplate Dances oder Clashes in NYC (hauptsächlich Brooklyn) verdient haben, sind sie in Europa über die Audios und Videos dieser bekannt geworden. Bei diesem Clash wird Kosmik das erste Mal europäisches Festland betreten.
Sentinel dürfte den Lesern des Blogs wohl allen bekannt sein und wird auch als Favorit für den War ina East gehandelt. Der German Luger aus Stuttgart hat neben den World Clash Titel 2005 unzählige Clashes in Europa, Jamaica, USA und Kanada gespielt und auch zahlreiche Titel (unter anderem den War ina East Titel im Tag Team Clash mit Supersonic vs Poison Dart und Tek 9) eingefahren. Gespannt sein darf man, wie sich Daniel und Allgi bei ihrem ersten Clash mit der Dubbox der German Luger schlagen werden.
Ich werde in den kommenden Wochen zu jedem Sound das ein oder andere Video posten um euch ein bisschen auf den Clash einzustimmen!
This Friday, February the 25th, after a long lean period, Berlin will be the battlefield for a soundclash again.
Berlin’s own City Lock Sound gonna clash against Yardbeat Sound from Japan at the Yaam.

King Addies himself just put up the Audio for last weeks Global Cup Clash on DHR.
Hopefully this is the full Audio of the night, after all that raetaetae that was going down latlely on DHR.
Nevertheless, the Promoter of the King Addies vs. Supersonic Clash in Antigua could never thank them peeps over on DHR enough for all those drama about the outcome of Global Clash. Best Promo him coulda wish for.
I personally think it’s the best that could happen to Soundclash right now.
We need this animosity to spice it up a little.
Well, 2 Clashes of 3 this weekend are over, and it seems like Foundation Sound won in Wuppertal
and Supersonic took the Global Clash Title in NYC.
Respect to both of them!
From what i’ve read the clash in Wuppertal was a bit boring and nothing special, but we have to decide when the Audio’s dropping.
Curious if Foundation is on a killing spree now and take also the clash in Gütersloh tonight against Trinity Sound.
For the Global Clash, Rootsman dropped out first, then Yardbeat and finally Black Kat. Sonic and Addies played Dub fi Dub.
Seems like the next weekend has a lot of bloodsplashing goin’ on that you guys need to know about.
First you have, on Friday, the 3rd of December, the annual Global Clash, in Brooklyn, New York.
Black Kat, Supersonic, King Addies, Rootsman and Yardbeat ago war it out at C-Pac.
Across the pond, at the Bloomclub in Wuppertal Germany, there’s the Global Shoot Out Clash with Sensi Movement from Chemnitz, Germany clashing against Gunz’n'Rozez from Ontario, Canada and Foundation Sound from the Netherlands on Friday.
Then, on Saturday, the 4th of December, Foundation Sound clashes again, against Trinity Sound from Stockholm, Sweden at the Weberei in Gütersloh, Germany.

Yes, it’s true!
Supersonic killed Black Kat, Yardbeat, Tek 9 and Synemaxx at C-Pac last Saturday in New York and took the Global Cup Clash Trophy!
Word on the streets is that this win was fully earned by Sonic.
Hopefully the Audio is dropping soon.

This line-up seems pretty amazing to me, and maybe Spider and Rick have something to settle after this, which can make this clash even more exciting.
