SHARING THE NIGHT – SUGAR SELECTION

As a belated new year’s treat, Sting like a bee presents you with a different kind of lovers mix. We all love the music by the likes of Sanchez,
Bitty McLean, Beres Hammond, Glen Washington and so on, but we also felt we should turn the spotlight on some less familiar yet remarkable artists
and songs of timeless quality. Add Sting’s trademark mixing and selection technique and experience the perfect soundtrack for you and your sweetheart:
Sharing the Night -
For loving purposes only!

Sting Like A Bee did a wicked Mix of Dancehall and Hip Hop Tunes, dancehall infected Hip Hop Tunes, hiphop infected Dancehall Tunes and anything in between.

Thing called Melting Pot.

Check it out via Soundcloud.

Germanys reigning Clash-Promoter, Mr. Smoka of Guns-E-Num, just released a wicked Download-Link-Package as a christmas gift for all you guys, including a nice mix-cd, a baddd 100% Dubplate-Juggling-Audio and a exciting Soundclash.

Last night, Jackpot Sound out of Mainz, Germany defeated X-ta-C 4×4 from Birmingham, UK in the Destination:Kingston Soundclash 2010 in Hamburg, Germany.

Unfortunatly Jackpots MC, Simma, was sick and couldn’t make it to the clash. But nevertheless they got the title with Marcus from Sting Like a Bee on the Mic as the Replacement Killer.

From what I’ve heard it was a deserved win, but not a landslide victory.

This Saturday, the 13th of November, its all about the european championchip tagteam clash called Bring Your Tunes And Defend Your Sound, happening in Mainz, Germany.

The contestants will be Sting like a Bee and Jackpot Sound for Germany versus Mixmaster J and Natural Affair on behalf of the UK.

Host will be Tommy $ outta the City Lock.

The reclash will happen in London afterwards.

Unfortunatly there will be NO AUDIO of this Clash coming out, but propably there will be a DVD Release soon.

So, in the meantime enjoy the (unsorted) pics.

Sting like a Bee won the Pit Fight Clash yesterday against Ivory Sound at Groot-Bijgaarden.

I’ve heard it was a very deserved win, even tough the vote wasn’t that clear in the first place.

Something bout some confusing revote and stuff like that.

Can’t hit you up with a rundown, or even the audios ;-) yet, but i’ll keep you informed.

Big up Sting like a Bee on this win.

Due to some stressful days i’ve just forgot to post up the Audios Mr. Smoka from Guns-E-Num finally released last week.

As I mentionend here before, it’s been a very exciting clash and well worth a listen.

Thanks to Jaspo & Raggakings for the download also.

Yesterday Sting like a Bee defeated Soundvibration and Steady Rock Crew in the Uptown Skankin’ Soundclash Final.

Overall it was a very nice clash with nuff big dubplates, not so much rare 45′s and some good speeches.

Clash started with a Introduction-Dubplate-Round.

Soundvibration played first, but had some problems with the cd-players so that they can’t play their introduction round like they want to. Due to that reason the round was a little mix-up.

After that Sting came in and really had the place in a frenzy. Superb cutted Specials with some really good rewritten lyrics. Especially one Bounty and a very good Sizzla stuck to my mind.

Steady Rock really impressed me with their presentation then, their MC Mahatma’s one hell of a clash-mc. You can feel he’s hungry for it.

Nevertheless for me Sting took the round, hands down.

Second Round was a 45 Round, but I really can’t remember nuff of it.

After that the crowd voted Soundvibration out of the clash and the both sounds left went for another 45 Round which was won by Steady Rock for me.

Then they went for a 10 Tunes Dub fi Dub which really impressed everyone in the place.

One of the nicest DfDs i’ve heard in a while, no doubt.

Don’t remember everything, but artists like Fred Locks, Dobby Dobson, King Everald & Little John, Horace Andy & Tappa Zukie, The Jays, Prince Alla, Ernie Smith, Ras Michael and the Sons of Negus and nuff more got played.

Really exciting Dub fi Dub with forwards flinging from left, right, back, front and center.

The Voting wasn’t sticky at all, Sting Like a Bee took this thing by far, but for me personally it was not that clear like for the rest of the massive.

So me say congratulation to the big, bad and bold Sting like a Bee for winning the trophy and big up the other contestants for this nice clash sameway, also want to big up the promoters Guns-E-Num and Jamrock HiFi.

Looking out for whats coming next from them guys.

And by the way, don’t forget Sting’s gonna clash Ivory Sound out of Brussels in Groot-Bijgaarden/Belgium this June in their first All-Dubplate-Clash.
