The Police Office singer, real name David Emmanuel, is believed to have stabbed himself after officers raided his home in Warlingham, Surrey, earlier today.
He was due to face trial after being charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine in September last year alongside four others.

Just got the news that the upcoming dancehall artist Lil’ Joe passed away couple of days ago.
Joe passed away at the University Hospital of the West Indies in St Andrew on Monday February 7, 2011.
Reports are that he performed in Wickie Wackie, St Thomas on Sunday night after which he was rushed to hospital Monday morning where he died.
Reports are that he died from a ruptured blood vessel. He was 25 years old. Lil Joe (Alty Nunes) is the son of Former Nation Dance Theater Company tutor Patsy Ricketts.
He gain recognition after after placing third in the 2005 Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’s festival song competition.
Used to LOVE this song from him. I actually even remember where I heard this tune first (on a Spearchucka Mix CD from Bermuda).

Jamaicas first female record producer, Sonia Pottinger, is dead.
Pottinger, who was ailing for some time, passed away earlier this week.
She opened the Tip Top Record shop in 1965 and began producing local acts the following year.
The first single produced by Pottinger was Every Night by Joe White and Chuck. She also produced the singles, The Ethiopians by Delano Stewart and Swing and Dine by the Melodians.
Pottinger also produced albums by Bob Andy, Marcia Griffiths, U Roy, Big Youth and Culture.
In 1974 she bought Duke Reid’s Treasure Isle label shortly before his passing.
The great Lincoln Sugar Minott reportedly died yesterday evening, although the cause of death hasn’t been publiziced yet.

Keith Elam, better known as Guru, one half of the legendary Gangstarr, died April, the 19th after a long sufferation from Cancer.
I can hardly think of any other rapper that has as much influence on me, when I was a teenager, as Guru.
