8 Years Higher Level Sound

After this years incredible Jamaican Lounge Festival Night at the Römerkastell with Higher Level, Sentinel Sound and Maikal X, which was a huge success and one of the best parties we’ve ever promoted (big thx to the whole massive, it’s you we do this for, and without you it wouldn’t be possible. Btw. Check the pics of the night via Facebook!), we won’t give you time to breathe for too long.

Because on the 17th of June we celebrate the 8th Anniversary of Higher Level Sound with a B A N G.

Juggling alongside Higher Level Sound will be the mighty Pow Pow Movement from Cologne, which is truly the most successful, longest touring and most booked Soundsystem in Europe, hands down.

And we’re also gonna feature one of the most promising young european artists of the year. Hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, the ruff but sweet singer/deejay Etzia will  bless the Modul with her appearance.

On the 13th of May it’s called Family Thing again, when we’re heading to Cologne, Germany to tear down the Petit Prince together with your mothers favorite Soundsystem, Pow Pow Movement!

Junior Carl – Soundman turn Artist

In the tradition of wellknown Selectas tun Artists, like Tony Matterhorn or  Charly Black, Junior Carl, MC of the mighty Pow Pow Movement from Cologne, Germany, released his first song “Alle Hände” (buy on itunes) a few days ago and have some more (like “Kein Halten”, on City Locks Arrogant Riddim Vol.2) in the pipe.

With the background of playing instruments and singing in his own Band since he was eleven years old, starting to MC for one of europes most successful soundsystems and then linking with german producer Fizzle, outta the Soul Force, it’s the obvious next step to release his first Tunes now.
