Seems like the Line-Up wasn’t just a rumour, as I recently found the Flyer for this years Riddim Clash.

Don’t know if this is really official yet, but one of Guiding Star’s Members put the Line Up for this years Riddim Clash on the DHR Board.

World Sound Cup Clash 2010: Find the Mistake!

Just found the new flyer for this years World Sound Cup Clash online that gonna take place on the 25th of September at the O2 Acadmy in London, between Barrier Free, King Tubbys, Supersonic, Sound Trooper, JNR Sound and Poison Dart. Let’s see if you can point out the mistake.

March, 27th, 2010: World Cup Clash (UK)

EDIT: Clash has been postponed till September the 25th, 2010.

The annual World Cup Clash, promoted by World Promotion UK, gonna take place next year, on the 25th of September in London, England.

Contestants for this Clash will be, in alphabetical order,

JNR Intl (Jah Negus Rule) from the UK,

King Tubbys also from the UK,

Poison Dart reppin’  the US of A,

Red Spider all the way from Japan,

Ricky Trooper outta Jamaica,

Sentinel Sound, holdin’ it down for Germany,

and as last years reigning champ,

Shashamane from Kenya.

Me personally, I don’t like this kind of  7 Sounds inna One Clash Things, because its mostly about the gimmicks like the lastest Hype-Tunes and freakin’ dollarburnin’ Custom Dubplate Showers, so you won’t get to know the real depth of the sounds dub boxes, but anyway, I’ll keep you updated about the rules and flyers and stuff a.s.a.p.

Can’t understand how 2 Sounds from the UK find their way to this line-up, and also Red Spider looks curious to me….last time I heard them was in a World Clash in NYC couple of years ago. Hopefully their MC worked a bit on his english-skillz, cause he was the most terrible MC I’ve ever heared in a clash.

For Shashamane, they’ve to defend their trophy from last year, but come on, most of the time they come to loose. Riddim Clash was a shame.

Sentinel, after the great performance in Elderslie in this years SOUND FI DEAD Clash few weeks ago, are obviously the right pick on the bill and also Poison Dart always bringing their A-Game to the Stage.

As for Trooper, mmh, he’s the serial killer, right?! But I’m kinda loose offa him the last years. To much Screaming, talking bullshit, GSUM and thing along with playing boring and always mess up his selection with set up issues.

Anyway, looking forward.

Poison Dart touring Europe

The notorious Poison Dart from Tampa/Florida gonna touring trough europe for some Juggling Dates (and Riddimclash, of course) this fall.

“The notorious Poison Dart, based in Tampa, Florida (US) will tour Europe this fall. Poison Dart, in the soundsystem business from 1993, created quite a stir on the international sound system scene shortly following their friendly – yet competitive – dub fi dub with Killamanjaro and Ricky Trooper in Orlando on June 5, 1996. In the years since, Poison Dart has represented the USA in several World Clashes defending their turf with their deep dubbox, owner Kirky C’s sharp selections and MC Mad Rass a.k.a. Taranchyla with his razorsharp speech and lyrical wit.

Poison Dart made an everlasting impression on European audiences recently alongside Tek-9 Movements representing the USA in the Tag Team Clash “War Ina East” in the Netherlands where they nearly snatched away the trophy from Europe’s top sounds Sentinel & Supersonic. And now Kirky C and Mad Rass will showcase their skills and the true depth of their dubbox in a juggling style from October 1st till October 11th all over Europe. There a still a couple of dates free to be booked.”

New Riddim Clash Flyer

This is the new Flyer for this years’ Riddimclash with the 2 xtra Sounds added.

Riddim Clash Line-Up completed

Riddim/U-Club just announced the complete line up for Riddim Clash.

Surprisingly they haven’t added just one, but two of Germanys most promising young guns to the Slaughterhouse.

Totally unsuspected, but City Lock from Berlin and Deebuzz from Mannheim are in for the kill.

I’m kinda exited if the can bring their A-Game and move their reputation to the next Level.

We’ll see.

Riddim Clash Line Up for 2009 just announced

Mattia, from U-Club, which is the Co-Promotor for the Riddim Clash just announced the Line Up for this years’ Riddim Clash on the german Dancehallboard.

The Clash will take place October, the 3rd, at Palladium in Cologne, Germany and Opponents are:
