This Friday it’s all about good vibes again!
Higher Level Sound & the frankonian Ruler Mango Tree juggling back 2 back the whole night long at Das Modul.
Jamaican Lounge tun up, from it’s Mango and Level on the bill, you know it’s gonna get sick!
Again, here is a non-reggae, non-dancehall, non-dubby, but yet absolutely awesome Mix that I want to share with you. It’s the second volume of Manu Shotta’s (of Mango Tree Sound fame) Mixtape installment called Shotta Disco. The first edition was also good (a Discoelectrosoulindie-tagged Mix), but this one now is totally off the hook. I love it! Alltime Hip Hop Classics, mixed with Soul Tunes and a little New Jack Swing that make you wanna dance and make love to your lady/man the sametime.
If you grew up around the same time and social sphere as I do, you must at least know 95% of the tunes, and they will make you remember bout the good ol’ times and maybe feel youngish again.
Last Friday was the 11th Anniversary of Mango Tree Sound, out of Nuremberg, Germany.
Along with our buddies from the birthday sound, none other than the great Supersonic Sound from Berlin where there to juggle the hell out of their macbooks.
And because Mango Tree are some of the nicest persons in the whole scene they also recorded this special evening to share it with you guys.
Happy Birthday Father Tim, Robin Hype, Floris, Remo, Misty Fu, Rajah and Bobby Peng!
Last Friday was bananas! This was one of the wickedest dances I’ve been to, no bullshit.
Everybody was in a partying mood, the sounds played very good, Ronny Trettmans Live-Set was straight fire and even Sultan schüttet nen Eimer Wasser drüber:
Here are a few pics:
So if you’re around the Ruhr Area, or you don’t have something important to do, make sure to check this awesome little Festival.
To Rest of the Line-Up also looks very dope, you get me?!
Our good friends from Nuremberg, Mango Tree, just released the first part of their, seems so, new mix CD series called Mango Madness.
