Mit ‘Guns-E-Num’ getaggte Artikel

Yesterday Sting like a Bee defeated Soundvibration and Steady Rock Crew in the Uptown Skankin’ Soundclash Final.

Overall it was a very nice clash with nuff big dubplates, not so much rare 45′s and some good speeches.

Clash started with a Introduction-Dubplate-Round.

Soundvibration played first, but had some problems with the cd-players so that they can’t play their introduction round like they want to. Due to that reason the round was a little mix-up.

After that Sting came in and really had the place in a frenzy. Superb cutted Specials with some really good rewritten lyrics. Especially one Bounty and a very good Sizzla stuck to my mind.

Steady Rock really impressed me with their presentation then, their MC Mahatma’s one hell of a clash-mc. You can feel he’s hungry for it.

Nevertheless for me Sting took the round, hands down.

Second Round was a 45 Round, but I really can’t remember nuff of it.

After that the crowd voted Soundvibration out of the clash and the both sounds left went for another 45 Round which was won by Steady Rock for me.

Then they went for a 10 Tunes Dub fi Dub which really impressed everyone in the place.

One of the nicest DfDs i’ve heard in a while, no doubt.

Don’t remember everything, but artists like Fred Locks, Dobby Dobson, King Everald & Little John, Horace Andy & Tappa Zukie, The Jays, Prince Alla, Ernie Smith, Ras Michael and the Sons of Negus and nuff more got played.

Really exciting Dub fi Dub with forwards flinging from left, right, back, front and center.

The Voting wasn’t sticky at all, Sting Like a Bee took this thing by far, but for me personally it was not that clear like for the rest of the massive.

So me say congratulation to the big, bad and bold Sting like a Bee for winning the trophy and big up the other contestants for this nice clash sameway, also want to big up the promoters Guns-E-Num and Jamrock HiFi.

Looking out for whats coming next from them guys.

And by the way, don’t forget Sting’s gonna clash Ivory Sound out of Brussels in Groot-Bijgaarden/Belgium this June in their first All-Dubplate-Clash.

Totally forgot about this, but end of this month 3 Sounds (Sting like a Bee, Soundvibration and Steady Rock) fight for the Uptown Skankin’ Soundclash Title at KuCaf in Mainz.

Unfortunatly I couldn’t make it, but nevertheless better you show up and witness the killing.

Host of the night will be no other than Sultan from Netherland’s Herbalize-It Sound.

The guys from Club45ers cancelled their idea of putting out the whole War Fever Clash as a DVD due to the fact that, if they release it, someone will upload it anyways to some file-sharing-server. Thats really not worth all the work they putting in.

So now, you can join vimeo, select the clips on the julos.tv channel and download it there.

!UPDATE! You can download the vids directly from zShare, just check 45ers to get the links. And make sure to use the donate-button!

45ers will put up a donate-button, and of course they will be glad about some contributions fro you guys.

Member, if you help them a little, they surely keep on doing this good work, and thats what we all what.

For now, you can take a look at the first round from all sounds:

Mango Tree

As me told you here, the War Fever Clash is done and finally also the audios are up and running.

For all who missed the Live-Stream, you can download your slice of the clash from here.

Big up Guns-E-Num and Blazin Vibes!

The War Fever-Clash is done and Mango Tree took the (deserved) throphy.

Over all it was a well attended and really fair clash, couldn’t make out more then 1-2 obviously biased people in the crowd.

Sensi Movement dropped out first after the second round, which is pretty o.k. for me due to their inconstant presentation. They seems to lack concentration couple of times.

But hey, the claim to be Germany’s most blunted sound.

Nevertheless big up Sensi me dupes!

For me Mango Tree won all rounds straight because of the perfect matching MC/Selector-teamwork. Presentation was on the point. Always.

And they beat out the most Dubs this night and had a constantly flow.

Really liked what I heared.

Dub-fi-Dub was a bit sticky and the last vote was really close.

Rudeboy presented themselves well too, but the selector had some problems with the mixing sometimes, and for me they barely played unique and creative dubs.

What sticks in mind after the clash is the lack of really good and funny speeches through the night. For the next clashes all of them need to step up their MC-A-Game.

But at least their was none of the boring GSUM-Speech that’s usually brought up by most of the upcoming clash-sounds.

Must admit that this was really a good step into the future of germanys (maybe europes) clashing-scene.

Big up my friend Smoka/Guns-E-Num everytime for promoting things like that, we need more brave youth like you in the scene!

P.S.: You can check the video from the Dub-fi-Dub, filmed by the 45ers here.

Mango Trees 2nd round is also up on youtube.

The whole clash-audio will be streamed coming sunday 8p.m. CET on Blazin Vibes Reggae Radio, make sure you tune in for the full hundred.

And some early bird told me there will be a DVD of the clash coming up also.

Look out for that!

It’s Waaaar Time again, on the 13th of december as it goes down to a strictly Dubplates Soundclash named “War Fever” wich will be battled out at the Rude 7 in Mannheim.

This Clash is promoted by Germanys leading War-Promoter (musically me say!) Mr. Smoka and his Guns-E-Num Clash-Promotion.

Be there when 3 young’n'hungry Sounds buck up inna fair (we hope so) Soundwar.

Contestants happens to be:

“Germanys Most Blunted Sound”, Sensi Movement from Chemnitz with Don Reeves, King P, Jan Haze and Father Sensi,

“The Frankonian Ruler” Mango Tree Sound from Nürnberg with man like Father Tim, MistyFu, Remo, Manu, Floris, Rawjah, Kai and Da Selfincensa

and, from Tel Aviv, the worldwide Sound called Rudeboy Sound with Rami Grami and Tabasco.

A definitly must-see for all the real Clash-Heads in Germany!

Be there.

Beat a juice.

Enjoy the war.
