It was a night out of the ordinary when three big sounds outta Europe met for a friendly dubplate showcase called DUBS FULL HUNDRED in Stuttgart on the last friday in October. It was exclusively Dubplates playing this very night and if you were always longing for to hear these musical gems away from the agressive atmosphere of a clash event, this is your audio to grab. Sentinel & Supersonic were playing alongside the A1 sound outta Finnland, Komposti. Took place inside Club Corso Bar in Stuttgart in front of 150 patrons on October 30, 2009

Just found this on my harddrive and decided to put it online again, cause it really nice still. Recorded on January the 3rd, 2008.

Mr. Six of Higher Level juggled at german Radiostation “Unser Ding” for about 2 hours.
Starting with some Roots Classics, up to modern roots hits from 2007, then increasing the speed with some ‘07 bashment tunes and ending with a half hour Dubplate Set.

Sentinel gonna presents a wicked night full of (only) Dubplates flingin from left, right and center at Corso Bar in Stuttgart on October, the 30th.

The Sounds on the bill for that night happens to be the everlasting one outta Stuttgart, Berlins Top Sound Supersonic and the Bauss of the Nauss, Komposti Sound from Helsinki.

Sounds like it’s gonna be legen-effin-dary!

Inner City Voices

Docta B from Frankfurts own Dubs till Dawn Soundsystem founded a new project together with Roots FM 96.1, the Voice of the Inner City, called

which seems to me pretty worth to promote/support.

They are voicing dubplates of unknown, unestablished artists from the inner city of Kingston, Jamaica for a small fee, which is splitted between the artists and the Roots FM recording studio, to make sure Roots FM can stay on air and keep on spreading their positive message.

How does it work?
There is one recording session per month in the studio of Roots FM in Kingston. At least two artistes join each session; the artistes vary from session to session. Every artist is promoted on the Inner City Voices Myspace page with a song and a photo. Sound Systems choose the artistes and the number of songs they want to record. They send the information as well as the required amount of money to Inner City Voices. They will receive the recorded tunes after the recording session.

Who benefits?
•The artistes get the chance to present their talent to a global audience and benefit financially.
•The community radio station ROOTS FM receives a studio fee for every recorded tune. The money is used for the development activities of ROOTS FM (see below).
•The Sound Systems get specials from talented and motivated artistes.

Million Vibes & Rough Lynx

Due to the reason our dance with the swedish sounds Million Vibes and Rough Lynx at the 6null3 got unfortunatly cancelled, we want to point you out to Jackpots monthly regular “Wake the town and tell the people” at KuCaf in Mainz where they have both of them as guests this saturday, 14th of February.

For those of you who have a vehicel or a BahnCard, this dance is worth the trip to Mainz!
